What you get by building it in. There is no adhesive pad to peel, nothing to move across when you swap cases, and the back of the phone stays clean. The ring also sits in the same spot every time, so the phone seats on the lid the same way on every use.
How it works with the bottle. Set the bottle down and bring the phone to the lid. The holder has a 90 degree hinge, so the phone stands upright for a call or tips into landscape to film a set, follow a recipe, or watch something while your hands are busy.
Beyond the bottle. The same ring works with magnetic car mounts, magnetic chargers, and magnetic wall or desk mounts, so the case is useful even when the bottle is not with you.
