iPhones with MagSafe stick to the lid straight out of the box. Most Android phones, and older iPhones, do not have the magnets built in. That is why every bottle ships with a magnetic booster ring, color matched to the bottle, so those phones work from day one at no extra cost.

The magnetic ring cases here are the upgrade. Instead of adding a ring to the back of your phone, the ring is built into the case, and the iPhone version rotates a full 360 degrees so you can switch between portrait and landscape without moving the bottle. Both keep working through the case you already use.
